Confirming to BasNews, Shaban Khalil, head of local administration of Dinarta, a town in Kurdistan Region's Duhok province, said that there were civilians in the area when the Turkish fighter jets bombarded the village.
He further explained that civilian had visited their village, and that the fate of a few of them is not known yet.
Turkish aircrafts on Sunday carried out similar attacks in three other villages in Akre district of Duhok province.
Turkey views the PKK as a "terrorist organization", it therefore frequently conduct bombardments in the Kurdistan Region's border areas.
