Duad Aliko, an ENKS leader, told BasNews that "there is a strong willing" by the council to start discussions with the PYD, the Kurdidh party which is in control of Syria Kurdish region, but rejected to specify a date for the start of negotiations between the two sides.
However, he stressed on their determination on promoting unity among the Kurds in Syria.
"We are determined to start intense talks [with the PYD] in different
fields such as politics, military, security, as well as the subjects of administration and economy," Aliko noted.
The officiak also urged the general commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazlum Abdi, to offer a roadmap on the Kurdish question in Syria so that all sides can exchange their views on it.
