A Turkish airstrike killed one civilian in Sidan village in Amedi, in Kurdistan Region, on Wednesday, February 26.

According to NRT the attack took place at approximately 5 p.m. local time.

Several people from the surrounding area went to Sidan to work on their farms. The person who was killed is a resident of Shiladze, the report added.

The reporter added that the warplanes also bombed one vehicle thought to belong to the Kurdistan Workers' Party [PKK]. It is yet not known if there was anyone in the vehicle.

The Turkish military routinely carries out airstrikes and artillery bombardments in the Kurdistan Region against suspected PKK targets.
