Nasser Haj Mansour told Kurdpress that the delegation held talks with European officials in Switzerland over the status of camps where IS members’ families are being held, and the Turkish military offensive in northern Syria and the human rights situation in the region.
Nasser Haj Mansur, also the director of the Syrian Centre for Studies and Dialogue, continued as saying that during one of the meetings with advisers, experts and European diplomats from several countries, including Germany, Britain, Switzerland and Norway, the two sides discussed the situation in Syria and traded their views over the ongoing situation in Syria.
He added that the meetings addressed the situation in northern and eastern Syria after the military operations by Turkey and armed opposition factions in Sari Kani and Gri Spi, and the Europeans praised the successful self-governing model in northern Syria.
The official went on to say that the meetings also addressed the human rights situation in northern and east Syria and called for boosting attempts to find solutions to tackle today's challenges in Syria.
