Halabja coronavirus curfew extended by 72 hours

<p style="text-align: left;">Halabja&amp;rsquo;s governor said on Tuesday, March 17, that the curfew imposed on the city has been extended by a further 72 hours in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

It will now end at 12:00 a.m. Friday, NRT reported.

&ldquo;All bakeries, markets, and pharmacies may remain open and the vendors are allowed to use their vehicles within the neighborhoods, but they must follow the medical instructions.&rdquo; Governor Azad Tofiq said.

&ldquo;The butcher shops will only be open on March 18, from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. They will operate under observation of the joint committee and people should get their necessities during that limited period because the shops will be closed after that date.&rdquo;

Using cars and motorcycles are not allowed and anyone who violates the curfew will be prosecuted.
