Turkish-backed factions storm homes of newly displaced civilians in rural Afrin

<p style="text-align:left">The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) activists say that military groups of Turkish-backed factions raided today the homes of displaced civilians in Meydanki area in Afrin countryside in the Kurdish region of the country.

The area is experiencing abuses by the new residents against the property of Kurdish indigenous people, including crazing cattle on agricultural land and fruit trees, causing significant damage to crops.
On April 22, Reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that a group of displaced people in the town of Medanki in rural Afrin, brutally beat a Kurdish civilian with hands and batons, for refusing to allow them to graze their cattle on his agricultural land near the village. The attack caused him to severe bleeding and died hours later, while Turkish-backed factions and police have stood idly by.
