In response to remarks by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the administration issued a statement saying that the only solution to the Syrian crisis was dialogue.
The Department of Foreign Relations of the Syrian Kurdish-controlled Administration issued a statement saying that the main problem in the current process is that the Damascus government did not accept the changes, which caused a crisis.
The statement also said that the administration considers Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's request for talks with the Damascus government to be positive step in order to find a way out of the crisis and stated that "As the autonomous administration, we are ready for a national dialogue."
The administration said it appreciated Russia's role in mediating the talks, adding that the administration would develop practical results.
"As the autonomous, we declare our readiness to negotiate with Damascus, provided that it takes into account the costs we have incurred in the fight against terrorism to protect the Syrian territories," the statement said.
It should be noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced five days ago that Moscow was ready to facilitate negotiations between the Kurds and the Syrian central government.
Russia's foreign minister accused the United States of leading a significant number of Syrian Kurds to secession.
Lavrov expressed hope on July 2 that the Kurds, who are interested in normalizing relations with the Syrian central government, would understand the current provocations (Taliban secession by the United States) and the danger that they pose.
The Russia top foreign relations official added that throughout the Syrian crisis, especially after the arrival of Russian troops in Syria at the invitation of the central government, Russia has encouraged the Kurds to have direct relations with Damascus so that they can discuss how to live together in the country and also how to negotiate.
