A high-ranking delegation from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with members of the North and East Syrian Autonomous Administration during a visit to Syrian Kurdistan.
According to the Hawarnews news agency, the high-ranking delegation entered Syrian Kurdistan from the Smilka land border and met with Abdul Karim Omar, head of the foreign relations department of the North and East Syrian Autonomous Administration.
The delegation, including of the Swedish Foreign Ministry's Special Representative for Syria, the Swedish Foreign Ministry's Director of Humanitarian Aid and Humanitarian Affairs, and an advisor to the European Peace Institute, also met with Syrian Kurdish political and military delegations.
