Muhammad Mehdi al- Bayati told Baghdad al-Yaum that the unit needed to rest and work in another position after four years of activity in the provinces of Kirkuk, Nainawa, Salahaddin and Anbar.
He further stated that a unit which is under the supervision of Iraq armed forces commander was replaced.
Al-Bayati described the security situation in Kirkuk as very good, adding that Iraq security forces are in control of the situation.
