Iran, Iraqi FM hold phone talks

<p style="text-align: left;">A week prior to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani&amp;rsquo;s visit to Iraq, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Iraqi counterpart Muhammad Ali Hakim hold a phone talk on Saturday, March 2.

According to al-Firat News, Iraqi foreign ministry said in a statement that the two FMs held a phone call and discussed the latest regional and international developments.

The statement added that the two also traded views on the ties between Baghdad and Tehran and the joint willing of the two countries to boost bilateral relations.

Iraqi FM called, in the phone talk, for expanding ties in different fields between the two neighboring countries.

Hakim has twitted earlier that Rouhani would make on official visit to Baghdad on Monday and Zarif will accompany him in the visit.
