Erbil-Baghdad delegation attempts to open Kurdistan Region border gates

<p style="text-align: left;">An Erbil-Baghdad joint delegation is attempting to reach a bilateral deal which permits the opening of border gates in Kurdistan Region.

The Secretary General of Kurdistan Region Customs office, Abdurghader Abdullah, told SNN that the delegation has been formed to ease troubles on opening the gates that have been shut by Baghdad and attempts have been made to make achieve the goal.

He went on to add that a delegation from Kurdistan Region is visiting Iraq in line with the goal and another delegation is planned to make a visit to the region in a near future and make a deal with Erbil government after the pass ways are registered as official border gates.

Abdullah expressed his hope that the problems of the border gates would be solved after the delegation fulfills its goal.
