According to a statement by Barzani's office, the two officials have exchanged views on the post-election political process in the country, including the formation of a new cabinet for the government, and the role of Kurdistan Region in the process, BasNews reported.
Barzani stressed on a true partnership and equity in the political, economic, military, and security sectors in the country.
Wilks, for his side, reiterated on expanding ties between Erbil and London to cooperatively prevent terrorism from re-emerging, saying that his country and the international community support the negotiations among the Iraqi components in accordance with the country's Constitution to provide an appropriate environment for security and economic improvements.
