No time set for U.S. withdrawal from Syria Kurdish regions

<p style="text-align: left;">U.S. President Donald Trump would withdraw the forces of the country from Syria t a long time but no time has been set for the withdrawal, candidate for U.S. department of state deputy secretary said.

According to Sispan TV, Davidi Shekner told a Senate meeting last week that Trump plans to withdraw the forces but no timeline has been set for the attempt.

He went on to add that there are U.S. forces in Syria who are fighting along with Washington allies against the Islamic State (IS) militants, adding that the U.S. troops are training local forces to prevent the emergence of IS no.2 in Syria.

The official further stated that the presence of the forces in Syria would help Washington in its future negotiations with Russia over Syria.

U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis stated last week that Washington won&rsquo;t withdraw its forces from northern Syria even after the defeat of the IS.
