Service Turkey – Ekrem İmamoğlu, the ousted mayor of Istanbul and presidential candidate, resigned from the Republican People's Party (CHP) after 17 years and joined the New Party led by Özgür Özel. Dilek İmamoğlu also accepted membership in the New Party by announcing his resignation from the CHP.
