Erdogan lashes out at Macron's remarks

<p style="text-align:left">Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sharply criticized French President Emanuel Macron and described him as being on the verge of stepping down.

Speaking at a ceremony in Istanbul, Turkish President Erdogan blamed Macron, saying: "Macron says our problem is not with the Turkish people, we have a problem with Erdogan. First of all, we must say that there is not much time left in your presidency and you will leave soon. What did I tell you a few years ago? I told you in a phone call that you have no historical information. Learn history before anything else. Do not teach history to Turkey. You killed 1 million Algerians, 800,000 Rwandans and hundreds of thousands of Libyans.
Do not teach us humanity. As Ottomans, we took humanity every time we went to any place. They can't understand this, so they go crazy.
"Despite all the media and political engineering, if we are still considered to be the strongest party in Turkey, it is because of the insight of the Turkish people," Erdogan was quoted as saying by Milliyet daily, claiming that "All the games designed against our party have failed."
