Baghdad and Erbil are unable to respond to Turkey's repeated attacks: KDP member

A member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) emphasized the federal and Kurdistan regional governments are not able to respond to Turkey's frequent attacks on Iraqi territory, especially the provinces of the Kurdish autonomous region.

Wafa Mohammad Kareem said in an interview with "Al-Malouma" news agency that Baghdad-Erbil are not capable of responding to the frequent attacks of Turkish planes on Iraqi territory, especially the provinces of the Kurdistan Region.

Wafa Mohammad Karim pointed out Ankara continues its aggression under the pretext of the presence of terrorist elements in Iraq, stating: Baghdad and Erbil should deal with each of Turkey's attacks separately, because if its attacks are not countered, these attacks would not end.

Regarding Erbil's demand from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) that all military, security and administrative institutions of Sulaimani Province should follow to the laws of the Kurdistan region, he warned: If these institutions do not adhere to the regulations of the region, Erbil will have other options in this regard.
