According to Kurdpress, Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, will attend Ayatollah Khamenei's funeral ceremony leading a high-level delegation from the Kurdistan Region.

The report indicates that during this visit, in addition to attending the funeral, the President of the Kurdistan Region will meet with several senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran to discuss matters of mutual interest.
