Fire breaks out in fuel depot on Erbil-Makhmur road

Iraq and Kurdistan Region Service- A fuel depot on the Erbil-Makhmur road caught fire this afternoon (Saturday). Civil defense teams (fire brigades) are trying to contain the fire and, based on initial information, the incident did not result in any casualties.

According to the KurdPress News Agency, a massive fire broke out on the Erbil-Makhmur road on Saturday afternoon (August 1). Based on initial information, the location of the fire is a fuel storage depot.

Reports indicate that the main cause of the fire was the presence of large amounts of the flammable substance "Tinner" inside the depot.
