Tehran supports the establishment of lasting peace and stability in the region, Raisi said in the phone conversation, according to the presidential public relations website.
Referring to the capacity to develop Tehran-Ankara relations and cooperation in bilateral and regional fields, Raisi stated in response to the phone call from Erdogan late on Saturday that "The Islamic Republic of Iran sees the relationship and cooperation with Turkey as a long-term and comprehensive tie, and we welcome planning for strategic cooperation with Turkey.
Raisi stressed on the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries as the only way for lasting security and stability in different parts of the region.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for his part, said Turkey has prepared a list of various economic cooperation to strengthen ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and expressed interest in visiting Tehran soon.
Emphasizing on continuing Turkey's energy supply by Iran, the Turkish President said: "Turkey considers Iran a reliable supplier of energy and seeks to increase the level of its cooperation with Tehran."
Referring to Raisi's visit to Moscow and meeting with Mr. Putin, Erdogan expressed hope that the results and useful achievements of this visit will soon be seen in various regions, and stressed his country's support for Iran in line with regional security.
