US-led coalition created 28 military points in Syria

According to a report by Sputnik, the US-led anti-ISIS coalition has established military posts or bases in 28 places in Syria.

The United States, which has been deploying forces and equipment in Syria since 2014 under the pretext of fighting ISIS, has control over some oil fields in the northeast of the country and has established numerous military bases, the report said.

According to the Sputnik report, at least 28 military points announced by the US and the coalition have been established in the north and northeast of Syria, most of which include 17 military bases in Hasaka province.

It is also mentioned that most of the military points controlled by the US in Syria are located in the areas controlled by the Syrian Kurds.

According to the report of the news agency, all Syrian oil fields in Deir Ez-Zor province, except for one oil field, are under the supervision of the US and the control of the Syrian Kurds.

The report also added that the US forces are seizing the Syrian oil. According to the report, 66,000 barrels of crude oil from oil fields under the control of the Kurds and the United States are sent to the Kurdistan region of Iraq every day.
