<p style="text-align: left;">Shahoo Mohammadi, a disabled swimmer of the Kurdish city of Mahabad, coincided with the International Day of Disabled on December 3, broke the record of the Iranian disabled community in the endurance swimming.

Head of the Department for Sport and the Young Affairs of Mahabad Qarni Mostafapour said on Tuesday that on the occasion of the International Day of Disabled the Iranian genius disabled was able to break the record, IRNA reported.
He went on to say that the swimmer was able to register a new record in the endurance swimming by about 2, 483 m and 20 cm in the course of an hour.
Mostafapour noted that this year the disabled athlete also won the championship in the country&rsquo;s special olympics and was named the only boatman with Down Syndrome.
In 2018, there are currently 1.5 million 500,000 disabled people in Iran, according to statistics from the Iranian Welfare Organization.
