According to Baghdad al-Yaum, Ameri told in a gathering on Friday that the big victory of fighting terrorism in Iraq was achieved thanks to the sacrifices and the blood of Iraqi heroes, stressing that the sacrificial spirit should protected in order to protect Iraq’s integrity and independence.

He stressed that the stability of Iraq is equal to stability in the region but some are attempting to destroy hope in Iraq.

Reiterating that the media machine is targeting Iraq and the danger of the issue is not less than the threat of terrorism, Ameri stressed that his coalition is against the presence of any U.S. military bases in Iraq and the country does not need any foreign forces.
