Iran is not participating in Turkey operation against PKK: spokesman

<p style="text-align: left;">The Spokesman of the Iranian Armed Forces, Birgadier Abdulfazl Shekarchi, stated that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran is not participating in Turkey military operation against the Kurdistan Workers&rsquo; Party (PKK) on the borders of the two country.

The Iranian officials made the remarks and refuted the participation of any Iranian forces in such an operation after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Interior Minister Sulaiman Soilu stated that Ankara and Tehran have started a joint military operation against the PKK.

Despite claims about the start of such an operation two days ago in Turkey eastern border, no local and media reports have been released about any operation against the PKK.
