Iran deputy FM to visit Turkey on Tuesday

<p style="text-align: left;">Turkish Foreign Ministry on Monday said that Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will visit Ankara on Tuesday, April 30, to hold meetings with senior Turkish officials on bilateral, regional and international developments.

According to a statement by Turkey&rsquo;s Foreign Ministry, &ldquo;The political consultations between Turkey and Iran will be held in Ankara on 30 April 2019.&rdquo;

Araqchi will meet with his Turkish counterpart Sedat Onal to discuss bilateral relations, latest regional and international developments, according to a statement by Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After the US rejected extension of anti-Iran sanctions for its major oil buyers, including Turkey, Ankara criticized the decision and emphasized that it would keep doing business with Tehran.

A few days ago, Turkey announced that it will spare no efforts to convince Washington on the extension of sanctions waiver.
