Turkey Kurdish film screened in Sanandaj's Cinama Bahman

<p style="text-align:left">Zar, a film directed by a Turkey Kurdish director, was screened in Sanandaj's Cinema Bahman as the Kurdish Elites Congress was going on in the city.

The two-day congress started on July 2 and ended late on Tuesday in Mawlawi Hall in Kurdistan University where 30 Kurdish luminaries and 5 non-Kurdish elites would be honored.
According to Iran Youth Cinema Socirty Sanandaj Branch president the director of the film, Kazim Oz, attended the screening ceremony, adding that Oz is the second Kurdish film which is screened in the cinema this year.
Salim Salawati expressed his hope that 4 more Kurdish films could be screened in Cinema Bahman this year.
Oz narrates the life of a young Kurdish man who has grown up in New York but returns to Turkey to find the song her dying grandmother sang for him.
