Loqman Ahmi told Kurdpress that Turkey threats to attack the Kurdish northern region of Syria is serious and the Turkish army is very likely to conduct an attack on the region as soon as possible.
Turkey is terribly afraid of our democratic project and sees the project a threat to its existence, adding that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to control the northern parts of Syria and Iraq to revive his planned Ottoman Empire.
Also the former culture minister of Cizre Canton, Ahmi stated Turkey has made a long plan in order to revive the empire, stressing that Russia would become a losser in case Turkey occupies the Kurdish north of Syria as the region would be totally under the control of the NATO and that would be great loss to Moscow.
He ultimately adked Russia to play a more responsible role in Syria and the realities in the country and should not allow Turkey to make Syria a haven to terrorists.
