Security situation in Iraq still fragile: KDP deputy

<p style="text-align: left;">A Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) parliament member stated that the resumption of terrorist activities in Iraq proves mismanagement of the security situation as well as the lack of a real leadership in the country.

Sirwan Abdullah told a press conference in Baghdad that people have come the understanding that the present Iraqi government led by Prime Minister Hiader al-Abadi has failed to bring any achievement for the people, adding that victories against the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq was made thanks to sacrifices by the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga, Iraqi forces as well as the militias of Hashd al-Shaabi.

According to al-Ghad Press, Abdullah also denounced the recent terrorist attacks in Baghdad&rsquo;s al-Tayran square, calling for paying attention to the security, economic and service troubles of the people in Iraq.
