The party co-chair Shahoz Hassan confirmed the arrest of the Kurdish leader in an interview with NRT on Sunday, February 25.
Muslim had departed to Czech after he accepted an official invitation from the country, Hassan said confirming the arrest of the former PYD leader claimed by Turkish media.

Meanwhile Firat News Agency reported that Muslim was under surveillance of Turkish intelligence from the hotel where he got arrested.
Meanwhile, the co-leader of PYD representative in the Kurdistan Region Kalsum Ali said Muslim has been held in Prague and that Turkey demanded for his extradition.
Earlier in February, Turkey added Muslim to the country’s interior ministry “Red List” and announced a $1 million bounty for his arrest.
Earlier this month, Muslim strongly criticized the Turkish offensive against Kurdish-held Afrin, calling the offensive an attempt to change the area’s demography.
