<p style="text-align:left">Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani in a statement on Wednesday, February 12, called all parties in Kurdistan Region to support the reform law. The KRG Council of Ministers held a session to discuss ways to facilitate the implementation of the reform law.

Barzani said in the statement that within the framework of the reform law they will work to reorganize and unite the Region&rsquo;s budget including oil and gas revenue.
"We are working, within the framework of administrative and financial reform, to organize and unify the revenues of the Kurdistan Region, including oil and gas imports, so that they are transparent and clear according to the program of work for the ninth ministerial formation," Barzani said.
&ldquo;Reform is the demand of all the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and all parties, and for this we ask the political parties to work in a practical manner to support the implementation of the law and away from political auctions," he added.
During the meeting the Council of Ministers decided to form a higher committee headed by the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister for the ministers related to the reform law to follow up the mechanism of implementing the reform law in the Kurdistan Region.
The reform bill, which had been reintroduced into the Kurdistan Parliament late last year after being returned to the cabinet for revisions, was passed on January 16 in the Kurdistan Region and was signed by the Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani on February 4.
