Kurdistan political leadership to meet and discuss formation of new Iraqi gov’t.

<p style="text-align:left">The three presidencies of the Kurdistan Region are set to meet with officials from other political parties on Monday to discuss the latest affairs on the formation of a new government in Baghdad.

Speaking to Kurdistan 24, Dilshad Shahab, adviser to Kurdistan Region's President Nechirvan Barzani, pointed out that Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Parliament Speaker Rewaz Fayiq will also attend the meeting.
The three top officials will discuss with the Kurdistan Region's delegation to Baghdad the recent developments in Iraq, focusing on the outcome of a previous meeting between the Kurdish delegates and Iraq's PM-designate Mohammed Allawi, BasNews reported.
A delegation from the Kurdistan Region was in Baghdad last week before they ended their talks with Allawi on Friday, blaming him for not showing "any respect for the political and legal standing of the Kurdistan Region."
Allawi, who had repeatedly claimed that his future government will be "independent," had called for an extraordinary session to be held on Monday for voting on his cabinet, but the session was delayed until Wednesday next week.
