Based on information from local sources, Gen. Kobani, met with the Russian delegation in the Kurdish city to discuss latest regional developments.
According to reports from sources close to the SDF, the delegation of Russian officials in Qamishlo met with Kobani and his accompanying delegation and the two sides discussed various issues, including the Syrian Democratic Union Party (PYD) talks with the Patriotic Council of Syria's Kurds (ENKS), launched by Gen. Kobani.
In addition, the two sides traded views on the regional political, military and security developments. The visit comes as US delegations and Kurdish parties continue discussions to unite Syrian Kurds.
