Second phase of negotiations between Syrian Kurdish parties is over: official

<p style="text-align: left;">A member of the Central Committee of the Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK.S) said that the second round of talks between the Kurdistan National Council (ENKS) and the PYNK is over.

In order for the Turkish threats against Syrian Kurdistan to end, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) must release itself from the control of the Kurdistan Workers&rsquo; Party (PKK).

In an interview with KurdPress, Nafe Abdullah, a member of the Central Committee of the Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK.S), referred to the recent remarks of the party's secretary general, Saud Mullah, regarding the withdrawal of PKK forces from northern Syria and said that in order for the Turkish threat against northern Syria to end, the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) must be separated.

He added: "The second phase of negotiations between ENKS and PYNK is almost over and the parties are negotiating to enter the third phase and the issue of the administration of Syrian Kurdistan."

He continued: "There is a Turkish threat every day against northern Syria, and we and the Americans and even General Mazloum Kobani are looking for a way to prevent the PKK from dominating the PYD, and the two parties should be separated from each other.&rdquo;
