Israel has no interests in Kurdistan Region: KRG spokesman

A spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) said in a statement that Israel has no interests in the Kurdistan Region and that there are no Israeli citizens in the Kurdistan Region.

According to Bass News, Jotyar Adil, spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government, said in a statement: "In recent days, Ufir Jendelman, an Israeli Prime Minister's spokesman in Arab media, stated in a Twitter message that the Islamic Republic of Iran will possibly target Israeli citizens in some countries including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and the Kurdistan Region."

The spokesman of the Kurdistan Regional Government stated in his statement that "for public information, as we have stated many times before, we once again declare that Israel has no interests in the Kurdistan Region and there are no Israeli citizens in the Kurdistan Region; so we deny so these words made with any intention that has been expressed and it is far from the truth."
