Kurds have held talk with Damascus as they believe the U.S. will ultimately leave Syria and Turkey could attack Kurdish regions as Ankara cannot tolerate a Kurdish region in the north of Syria. The Kurds have hailed the first round of their talks with Damascus as positive.
The U.S. and the anti-IS coalition have remained silent over the negotiation.
Meanwhile Sergeant Shon Rayan, an anti-IS coalition Spokesman, has told Emirate National that it is the right of the Kurds to hold talks with Damascus as they are Syrian citizens and the crisis in Syria needs to be settled through politics.
He, however, reiterated that there are many clashes that the coalition has to fight and there are many activities that are needed to be carried out.
