Baqaei: Sending troops to the region and carrying out threats is against all the principles of the international system

Iran Service - The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that "sending forces to the region and carrying out threats is against all the principles of the international system" and emphasized: Our armed forces carefully monitor every movement and do not spare a single second to improve their capabilities to protect the .honor and national security of Iran

According to the press, "Ismail Beqaei" honored these days at the beginning of his press conference today (Monday) by congratulating the coming of the Shabaniyah holidays and the Day of Guardsmen and Veterans.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that "we are still witnessing the sedition of the Zionist regime in the region" and said that the root of the chaos in the West Asian region, including in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza and beyond, is the Zionist regime.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continued: The countries of the region are well aware that any insecurity in the region is not only aimed at Iran, and insecurity is contagious, and for this reason there is a common concern among the countries of the region regarding these threats.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized: Iran is confident about its capabilities and we have in mind the past experiences, including the experience of the 12th war, and we are more capable than ever to give a comprehensive and regretful response to any aggression against Iran.

In response to a question about last week's resolution of the Human Rights Council against Iran, Baqaei said: "This resolution caused a split in the international community."

He continued: Two Western countries, Germany and England, tried to force the world community to accept an inverted narrative about what happened in Iran by presenting a series of fake, false and exaggerated collections in the Human Rights Council, But in practice, we saw that half of the members of the Human Rights Council, i.e. 22 members, voted against or abstained from this resolution, or basically did not participate in the voting, and this itself had an important message.

In response to a question about Trump's peace council, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "Any plan that somehow affects or postpones the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people is rejected and will not succeed."

He added: The creation of an organization that, according to many countries, including European countries, is parallel to the United Nations and leads to the weakening of this organization and its related institutions, and an institution that is based on the opinion of one person and one government cannot serve the interests of the international community.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also responded to a question related to the fact that the United States has threatened Baghdad regarding Iraq's cooperation with Iran, and on the other hand, news has been published that the United States is putting pressure on Latin American countries regarding their cooperation with Iran and is trying to reduce Iran's influence in that region, he said: These issues show how big Iran is.

He continued: On the one hand, the Americans claim that Iran is weakened, and on the other hand, wherever they look, they are under the illusion that Iran has presence and influence there, and this is a kind of acknowledgment of Iran's glory, and on the other hand, it is an excuse to put pressure on independent countries.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also responded to a question regarding the departure of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln to the region and the published analysis that this carrier was sent to the region to attack Iran by the United States. We have the will and seriousness to defend ourselves, we have capabilities in this field, and using previous experiences, our armed forces carefully monitor every move and do not spare a single second to improve their capabilities to protect the honor and national security of Iran.

This senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that "we are both honest in diplomacy and negotiation and are serious in self-defense", and continued: can we not stand against threats and excesses and watch, our armed forces stand against any aggression and give a regrettable response.

Baqaei continued: "We do whatever we can do at the level of diplomacy." We interact with countries in the region and beyond. Certainly, no responsible country welcomes war, but if it is imposed, there is no other option but to stand, and the country must be defended with all its might.
