The administration of the Kurdish areas continues within the framework of Syria and with local management

Syrian Service - Aldar Khalil, a member of the PYD leadership council, emphasized that the administration of the Kurdish areas will continue within the framework of Syria and with local management, and that the recent agreements between the SDF and the Syrian interim government have been made with the aim of ending the conflict, preserving the achievements of the Kurds, and participating in the construction of a democratic Syria.

According to Kurdpress, Aldar Khalil, a member of the leadership council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), emphasized in an exclusive interview that Syrian Kurdistan is a political, social and geographical reality and no power will be able to remove it. He said that the process of recent talks and agreements between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the interim government of Syria was carried out with the aim of ending the conflict, preserving the achievements of the Kurds and actively participating in the construction of a democratic Syria.

He said: "Syrian Kurdistan is a reality. This reality has come about through struggle, cost and sacrifice. Attacks, sieges and attempts to destroy it have existed and continue to exist, but as long as this struggle continues, Syrian Kurdistan will remain.

He added that the Kurds' political project was never limited to one region and the ultimate goal is to build a new, democratic, free and multi-ethnic Syria where all nations and religions have equal rights.

According to him, the central government of Syria and the local administration of the Kurds are part of a common reality and none of them can ignore the other.

Khalil clarified: "We are not separated from Syria, nor are we looking for separation. On the one hand, we preserve our identity and achievements, and on the other hand, we cooperate with Damascus. The two are not contradictory.
