The Syrian Democratic Assembly called for the quick start of the prisoner exchange process between the SDF forces and the Syrian Army and emphasized the need to adopt a comprehensive and continuous mechanism for the amnesty and release of prisoners
The statement also states that this process should include all people who were detained without legal basis or under pressure and no discrimination should be applied in this regard.
In the continuation of this statement, the return of nearly 400 displaced families from Afrin was supported and this action was described as the first step in the path of safe, voluntary and dignified return of all displaced persons. It was also emphasized on the necessity of guaranteeing the right of residence and protecting their property.
In another part of its statement, this parliament emphasized the importance of reopening internal roads and crossings, especially around the cities of Kobani and Haskeh, and considered it an important measure to facilitate the movement of civilians, the prosperity of the market, and the strengthening of social stability.
