According to Kordpress, the spokesperson of the Turkish Ministry of Defense responded to the rumors that were recently published in some media and cyberspace in his weekly news conference. Based on these reports, it was claimed that in the event of a possible US attack on Iran, Türkiye also plans to enter Iran for security reasons.

Officials of the Turkish Ministry of Defense have denied this claim and stated that such a scenario is "contrary to reality". In this report, it was emphasized that Türkiye's policy towards regional developments is based on resolving disputes through diplomatic and peaceful means, and Ankara wants to maintain stability and prevent the spread of conflicts in the region.

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense noted that the relevant institutions of Turkey, with full coordination, monitor possible developments and risks caused by regional crises and take the necessary preventive measures in the framework of ensuring national security. However, there is no plan to enter Iran in the event of a conflict between the US and Iran.
