This is the 91st patrol between the two forces in the region since the signing of the Russian-Turkish ceasefire agreement in 2019.

The patrol, which consisted of eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles accompanied by two Russian helicopters, set out from the village of Ashma, 20 kilometers west of Kobani.

It roamed the villages of Jarqli Fouqani, Jebnah and Bayada reaching to Zor Mghar, off Jarblus on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, North Press reported.

Then the patrol headed to the east passing by the villages of Bayada, Jebnah, Meshko, Binder, Qaqoui Tahtani, Qola, Sosan, passed by a checkpoint of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) in the radio area reaching to Tel Sha’ir, west of Kobani.

Then, the patrol immediately returned to the starting point in Ashma passing by the villages Seftek, Boban, Khorkhori, Dikmatash, Qeran and Jarqli Fouqani.

After that, the Turkish military vehicles returned to Turkey through the gate near Ashma village, while the Russian military vehicles returned to their position near the town of Sirrin, south of Kobani.

On February 21, the Russian MP conducted 90th joint patrol with the Turkish forces in the eastern countryside of Kobani.
