PKK should leave Iraq, Kurdish politician tells Kurdpress

<p style="text-align:left">An Iraqi Kurdish politician believes the presence of the forces of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Shingal and other parts of Kurdistan Region is illegal and the forces should quit Iraq.

Saeed Mamuzini told Kurdpress in an interview that it was decided weeks ago to reopen governmental offices and return clerks and officials but the PKK had already provoked some of it elements who prevented the move.
The official added Shingal officials did not enter the city in order to prevent problems and tensions.
Mamuzini stated that most of the residents of the city have not returned to thier houses and are living in camps in Dohuk and Erbil and other regions, denying the people of the region are PKK supporters.
He further added the PKK is not allowed to interfere in Kurdistan Region affairs and the party should return to Turkey Kurdistan as the PKK belongs to the region.
