Kurdistan Region delegation meet French foreign minister official

<p style="text-align: left;">A delegation for the Kurdistan Region visited Paris where it visited a foreign minister official and the two sides discussed fighting against terror in Iraq and finding ways for peaceful coexistence between different groups in Iraq.

According to the official website of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), the Kurdish delegation, headed by Dindar Zebari, met Adrian Penili, the head of France Foreign Minister for Middle East Affairs.

The report added that fighting against terrorism in Iraq and the IS incursion into Iraq as well as ways for fighting against terrorism and peaceful coexistence were discussed in the meeting.

The problem of Iraq minorities, the implementation of the Article 140 over the fate of the disputed regions which both Baghdad and Erbil claim authority over, were the other topics that the delegation discussed with the French official.

Zebari stressed in the briefing that the Kurdistan Regional Government has always attempted to prepare ground for peaceful coexistence among different blocs in the region.
