According to Rudaw, the foreign minister was welcomed by Interior Minister Karim Shingali and Kurdistan Region Foreign Relation Chief Falah Mustafa upon arrival in Erbil Airport.
The Dutch leading official is planned to meet Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani in a joint press conference on Tuesday.
Before his visit to the Kurdish region, Blok held meetings with his German counterpart as well as the leader of Iraqi al-Hekmat Movement.
There are 125 Dutch forces in Kurdistan Region who work as military advisors and aid the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga.
The Dutch parliament extended presence of the forces in the Kurdish region till 2019.
