“Views on talks and further cooperation designed to strengthen the legal and administrative institutions of the Kurdistan Region and to bring more services to the people were discussed,” according to a joint statement released by the parties.
Following the meeting, the parties stressed the continuity of their recent meetings and said that talks would continue, NRT reported.
This is the third meeting of the PUK and KDP about how to structure the new government.
Even though 79 days have passed since the September 30 elections, a new speaker has not been chosen, nor have the parties been able to agree on a platform for government.
