KDP sets 6 conditions for participating in administering Kirkuk

<p style="text-align: left;">A member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) stated that the party has set 6 conditions for the participation of the party in administering the disputed oil-rich Kurdish-majority province of Kirkuk.

Muhammad Kemal told Mawazin News that the KDP has set 6 conditions and would not participate in any kinds of dialogues over the future of the province unless the conditions are met.

He added that the participation of the Kurdish forces of Peshmerga in providing the security of the province, annulling all the decisions and moves that the current Kirkuk governor has ordered, opening the KDP offices in the province, activating the provincial council of the province, the return of Ribwar Talabani, the head of the council, are the 6 KDP conditions for participation.
