“We have agreed with the Kurdistan Democratic Party [KDP] about everything. The Kurdistan Region's president will have two deputies according to the Kurdistan presidency draft bill. Their duties will be determined by the president 15 days after the former is elected,” Pira told Anadolu Agency.
A member of the PUK’s leadership council who spoke under condition of anonymity told NRT that they had agreed with the KDP not to reveal the names of their candidates for official positions before signing the agreement.
The KDP will hold a meeting of its leadership on Thursday in order to approve all the parties' candidates for ministerial positions.
The Change Movement (Gorran) is also expected to be part of the government.
