Following its meeting, the Public Assembly sent several recommendations to party’s National Assembly, including about the official positions that Gorran should take, according to party-affiliated media.
“The recommendations [will be about] about the Kurdistan Region's vice president,” Secretary of the Change Movement National Assembly Jamal Haji Muhammad said before the meeting.
Disputes over the vice presidency between Gorran and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan have proved to be a stumbling bloc in the government formation process.
Spokesperson for the Kurdistan Democratic Party Mahmoud Muhammad predicted on Monday that the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will be formed before Eid al-Fitr.
“The agreements will wrap up in the coming two days,” he told NRT.
