Turkish jets hit area near KDP branch office

<p style="text-align: left;">Turkish warplanes bombed a petrol station near Amedi district on Wednesday, June 12. The petrol station was just a kilometer away from the central Amedi city and just few meters away from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) branch 18.

There was no any human loses. The petrol station and road beside have been damaged, NRT reported.

It was the first time that the Turkish warplanes bombed an area near the center of Amedi city that much.

Turkish airstrikes wounded three members of the Peshmerga forces in the Kurdistan Region&rsquo;s area of Bradost early on Wednesday (June 5).

The Peshmerga members went to extinguish a fire caused by Turkish strikes in the area. The Turkish warplanes struck the area again at 05:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

At least 120 villages have been evacuated in the Kurdistan Region&rsquo;s sub-district of Sidakan due to Turkish airstrikes on the area, a Kurdish official said on Wednesday, June 5.

Turkey has recently increased the frequency of it strikes on targets in the Kurdistan Region, which it says are part of an effort to combat the PKK.

On May 15, Turkish bombardment in the Region&rsquo;s Barzani area killed a civilian.
