Providing Kirkuk security impossible without Kurds: Barham salih

<p style="text-align:left">The leader of Coalition for Democracy and Justice stated that it is impossible to provide the security of the Iraqi Kurdish-majority province of Kirkuk without taking into account the position of the Kurds.

Addressing the supporters of its coalition in Kirkuk, the capital of the province, Barham Salih stated that Kurds are not weak and Baghdad is not that strong to oppress Kurds and the Kurds and Kirkuk would resist abjection.

Salih, former prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), warned that his coalition would not allow oil mafia to play with the future and fate of Kirkuk another time.

It is time to return the capitals and interests of Kirkuk to its people and the youths of the province benefit from its oil incomes, Salih further added.

The former PUK leading official promised to solve hurdles on teaching Kurdish language in the city.
