The bombardment came a day after clashes erupted between Turkish soldiers and fighters affiliated to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
The report added Turkish army’s artillery bombarded Gali Rash, Heshima, Mount Dil, Mount Kitkin, Garwi Kawart and Khwakurk in the Bradost region, adding that casualties remained unclear due to intense bombardment.
The bombardment came after clashes broke out between People’s Defense Forces (HPG) fighters, affiliated with the PKK and Turkish soldiers in Hill Lelikan in Bradost on Thursday.
HPG claimed its fighters attacked Turkish army on eight axes, killing 19 Turkish troops.
Local authorities in Kurdistan Region said Turkish army has entered 19 kilometers into the region, adding that Turkish military has also created three main headquarters and up to 14 small military bases inside Kurdistan Region.
