According to PUK Center Council, Murad, who was also the secretary of the PUK Center Council, died in Germany where he went to receive medical treatment.

“Sadly, we announce the death of Adel Murad, member of the establishment board of the PUK and secretary of PUK Center Council,” the council said in a statement, NRT reported.

“We express our condolence to his family, friends and the people as well as supporters of the PUK.”

Murad founded the PUK along with Jalal Talabani, Mam Jalal, Nushirwan Mustafa, Kamal Fuad, Fuad Masum, Omar Shaikh Mouss and Abdul Razzaq al-Fili.
